Original Abstract

EUREKA program is aimed at applied research and industry. The E!3838 and E!4981 projects and new E!7614, which have been realized in cooperation of the GEOtest, Inc. and Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering in last years, allowed us to design and produce Z-meter devices. Verification of devices in practice does not takes place in Czech Republic only (e.g. the dikes in Koberice, Jevicko and Karolinka, the area of the golf course Svratka and settling tank Zelivka), but also our foreign partners in Basel, Switzerland, in Bari, Italy, in Milhostov, Slovak Republic, Oostende, Belgium, Granada, Spain cooperate in the verification of these devices. The devices are based in indirect monitoring method EIS (electrical impedance spectrometry).
