Original Abstract
This work describes the physical properties of a self-designed kilohertz-driven plasma pen operated in Ar designed for biomedical applications. The special design of the plasma pen resulted in stable operation at gas flow as low as 100 cm^3/min. Important plasma parameters such as electron concentration n_e, electron temperature T_e and gas temperature T_g, and geometry of the discharge jet were estimated using both electric measurements and optical emission spectroscopy.
