Příspěvek uvádí základní historické definice pojmu architektura v podání Vitruvia a Miese van der Rohe. Na jejich základě provádí zpřesnění pojmu a uvádí v tomto kontextu rozlišení mezi duchem a hmotou.

English abstract

The contribution introduces basic historical definitions of architecture using the ones of Vitruvius and Mies van der Rohe. On this base it executes the specification of the idea of architecture and introduces in this context the resolution between the spirit and the substance.
