Original Abstract
The article presents co-operation between the Brno Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering and general contractor (a consortium of OHL ŽS a.s. and GEOSAN a.s.) at the construction of an International clinical research center on the premises of the ICRCs Faculty hospital at St. Anna in Brno. The text describes the need to use theoretical knowledge of applied physics and HVAC systems in the implementation of specialized laboratories, clean rooms and comprehensive solution to the internal microclimate in buildings and individual rooms of the international centers, which together form the whole complex of modern diagnostics, research methods and new approaches to treatments. The building is unique not only in its scope and special laboratories, but also medical equipment technology. Research center of the ICRC is one of the most important centers of its kind in Europe and the world.
