Original Abstract

This article deals with impact of a magnetic circuit steel grade on a single-phase induction motor, especially on its efficiency and magnetic circuit saturation. The study of steel grade impact is realized due to a two single-phase induction motor samples and finite elements method pro-gram of Maxwell. One sample is equipped with a magnetic circuit made from sheets M700-50A; another sample is equipped with a magnetic circuit made from sheets M270-35A. Both samples laboratory measurement and finite ele-ment simulations are presented in this article.
