Original Abstract

Boby Center, the generous sport-commercial area completed in an incredible time of one year, was opened in the 90’s by the Metallica concert. That was the same sensation as the first car-wash, the laser show-hall with the largest discotheque in the city and thematic bars, a postmodern hotel or a shopping gallery and supermarket. All this was done according to the vision of a former hockey player nicknamed Boby. The dream, however, lasted only a few years, into his bankruptcy. But unclear property relations as a remnant of the wild post-revolutionary transformation influence the development of the site till today.
