Original Abstract

The aim of this work was to study conversion of SCG into valuable product–polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs). These polyesters are accumulated by various bacteria as carbon and energy storing materials. Due to their mechanical properties, they are considered being an alternative to petrochemical plastics.
