Original Abstract
One of the determining qualities of a project is the fact that it is the carrier of risk. When the risks exceed a set limit, the project may plunge into crisis. One or more risk project may cause the whole company to plunge into crisis. Therefore it is important to know the extent to which it is advisable to keep the project going. The subject-matter of this paper is the delineation of the differences between a project crisis and a company crisis. To do so, the paper uses a model case of a company which owns a risk project. Within the framework of risk management, the paper will define values that will be crucial for the assessment of whether the project is already in crisis. Quantitative analysis, Altman's bankruptcy model and the Neumaiers' IN model will be used to determine these values. The aim of the paper is to set recommendations that can be followed in case a crisis situation arises in the project and in the company.
