Original Abstract

The article deals with the negative consequences of the Bologna process in practice. There is a mathematical model of education introduced. The theoretical model program is to demonstrate how the system of university education has changed after the introduction of the Bologna process. Also the causes of the decline of university education are discussed and measures to improve the situation are proposed. The findings are presented on the basis of the experience of the author and supported by research in the Czech Republic (CR) during the period of fifteen years from the Bologna process. The main cause of the negative consequences of this process include: commercialization of university education, the introduction of credit system without any continuity to the previous content of the curriculum three-tier system of studies (bachelor, master and doctor-al). Finally, this paper includes recommendations for improving the current state of education.
