V současné době moderní tvářecí stroje velmi značně zkracují kusový operační čas na výrobu součástí. V souvislosti s tím je potřeba uplatňovat takový stupeň mechanizace a automatizace manipulačních operací technologických tvářecích procesů a jejich projekčních řešení, které zaručuje, aby byla daná výroba racionální. Takovéto optimální řešení je možno modelovat za pomocí expertního systému „KAUZA-X“, jehož kritériem optimalizace jsou pořizovací a provozní náklady. Odezva expertního systému umožňuje nejenom ekonomicky vyhodnocovat možné varianty manipulačních řešení tvářecích procesů, ale umožňuje také provést jejich časovou návratnost. Expertní systém je sestaven v prostředí Borland Delphi.

Modern forming machines considerably reduce the unit operating time in the manufacturing of parts. A consequence of this is the need to implement such a level of mechanization and automation of the handling operations involved in the forming process and their design that would ensure the economic viability of the manufacturing system. Such an optimum solution can be modelled using the “KAUZA-X” expert system whereby the optimisation criteria are based on the acquisition and operating costs. The expert system output enables making an assessment of the economics of the individual handling solution alternatives ensuring return on investment over time. The expert system has been developed using the Borland Delphi environment.
