Original Abstract

The article is an overview of the development of mathematics and administered basic data about the Islamic expansion. Then we benefit Arab mathematics for the further development of science. Interpretation focuses on several of the main characters, whose life and scientific work is evaluated in more detail. In conclusion, are listed the causes of the decline of mathematics in the Arab world.
