Original Abstract
There is effective to apply temporary computational models at initial stage of design of new driving unit development. Finite elements method (FEM) turn out well for dynamic calculations of large mechanical structures at frequency and time domain, but modeling of adequate substructures interaction is usually very difficult. More appropriate means for complex systems of bodies are multi-body systems (MBS), to whose FEM models needs to be converted and such way to reduce the number of degree of freedom. Hydrodynamic slide bearings modeling require special approach too. Virtual engine, central module of which solves cranktrain and engine block interaction, is developed based on ANSYS and ADAMS environment. For computational models laser measurement techniques are applied.
