Original Abstract

This paper deals with possibility of utilization of independent (battery powered) electric drive in forwarder trailer. This conception allows to place drive wheel directly under the load which reduces wheel slip of main tractor which is beneficial in terms of ground erosion in the forest during harvesting operations.
