Original Abstract

A natural number map derived from the continuous chaotic map can be used as a generator of the sequence. Statistical properties of the natural-number sequence are generally somewhat indeterminate and depend on the shape of continuous map, on the method of the quantization and on the initial number of the sequence. It has been shown, that fine tuning the continuous map parameter allows finding the natural-number sequences which have similar statistics as the sequence produced by the continuous map. The proposed tuning method is based on the classification and identification of the maps.
