Original Abstract

A simplified mathematical model of the micro-cracking of the particle reinforced composites is investigated. The micro-cracking is represented by an array of the collinear slightly curved micro-cracks situated between neighbouring circular inclusions which exhibit different elastic properties then matrix. The model of the array of slightly curved micro-cracks is based on the already known solution to the interaction of the straight path micro-cracks and inclusions. The problem is solved using the technique of distributed dislocations and Bueckner principle. The Galerkin method and Muschelischvili complex potentials are applied to develop fundamental solution for a single dislocation situated in a general point between inclusions.
