Monografie Tomáše Rullera Perform-made / Odolné okamžiky je prvním souhrnným zhodnocením jeho více jak čtyřicetileté umělecké tvorby. Dílo Tomáše Rullera, který patří k významným představitelům akčního umění a video umění, hodnotí přední čeští a zahraniční teoretikové umění z různých perspektiv a v různých kontextech. Dobové i současné texty v tematickém členění analyzují jednotlivé Rullerovy performance i obecné principy jeho přístupu, zprostředkovávají jejich význam i nadčasový charakter a také vydávají obecnější svědectví o dosud nedostatečně reflektované oblasti českého umění performance. Nedílnou součástí knihy je bohatá, často velmi unikátní, fotografická dokumentace a autorovy osobité úvahy a reflexe vlastní tvorby.

English abstract

Tomáš Ruller's monograph Perform-made / Resistant Moments is the first comprehensive assessment of his more than forty years of artistic production. The work of Tomáš Ruller, one of the most important representatives of action art and video art, is evaluated by leading Czech and foreign art theorists from different perspectives and in different contexts. Contemporary and contemporary texts in a thematic division analyse individual Ruller's performances and the general principles of his approach, conveying their significance and timelessness, as well as giving a more general testimony to a hitherto under-reflected area of Czech performance art. An integral part of the book is the rich, often very unique, photographic documentation and the author's personal reflections and reflections on his own work.
