Original Abstract
More and more households, businesses and communities are transforming themselves into self-sufficient electricity producers, which will thus be less and less dependent on the supply grid in the future. The “participants” generate and store their own electricity via renewable energy sources with the help of solar panels, wind turbines, microgrids and battery storage, which they also consume themselves or even sell when needed.
