Original Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present a method for using a reverse multibody system on measured data from an experimental motorcycle. While creating an inverse multibody motorcycle model requires certain amount of input parameters from static laboratory measurement, the effort invested pays off because it enables the analysis of motorcycle dynamics and characteristics of each individual components when combined with dynamic measured data from motorcycle rides. A crucial aspect of this method involves accurate measurement of suspension kinematic position, motorcycle frame local position and orientation, as well as springs and dampers forces. By doing so, this method provides the means to indirectly calculate quantities that are difficult to measure directly, such as the forces between the tire and road. Moreover, this method is applicable in real-life field conditions, allowing the calculated results to represent actual conditions and not be limited solely to laboratory settings.
