Original Abstract
Conditional stability of weakly delayed planar linear discrete systems with constant coefficients and a single delay x(k + 1) = Ax(k) + Bx(k − m) , k ≥ 0 is analyzed where A and B are nonzero 2 × 2 constant matrices and x: {−m, . . . , ∞} → R^2 is an unknown variable. This analysis is based on previously derived formulas describing general solutions of the system for every case of the Jordan form of the matrix A.
