Original Abstract

This paper focuses on discussion of in-field compliance testing power generating modules (PGMs) within Czechia. Firstly, it describes compliance testing methods that can be used either in laboratory setting or in-field on a PGM connected to a real network. Then, requirements are discussed in the scope of their suitability for the in-field testing. In what follows, architecture of a photovoltaic PGM is discussed and requirements assigned to responsible component are categorized. As some requirements are associated with the approach and practice of specific distribution systems, distribution system operators in Czechia and the difference among their requirements in the scope of in-field testing is summarized. Lastly, the test setup and the authors' experience with in-field testing are presented and discussed.
