Original Abstract

The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the robustness of a practical phase-based Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) system to the changes in polarization. These typically occur when the fiber geometry changes during manipulation. The aforementioned system uses the Coherent One-way (COW) protocol which is expected to be only marginally affected by the change in polarization.
