Original Abstract

This study presents an innovative integrated electrochemical system for droplet-based electropolymerization and sensor applications. The system features a circular geometry and uses perfluorocarbon-based hydrophobic material to facilitate droplet formation, thus requiring only microliters of solution. The methodology includes a detailed fabrication process of the electrochemical chips and demonstrates the device's versatility in both aqueous and non-aqueous electropolymerization. The results show successful material deposition and characterization, with the system proving effective for miniaturized sensor applications. This approach significantly reduces the volume of required materials, offering a more economical and efficient alternative for developing new sensor materials and applications.
