Original Abstract

This paper deals with a complex integrated design of a furnace. This comprehensive approach involves application of heat transfer (radiation and convection) in equipment design, thermodynamic analysis for process design from the point of view of furnace integration, and last but not least the latest approach consisting in involving process fluid flow and hydrodynamic analysis to avoid potential troubles in operation.
