Original Abstract
The article is focused on the analysis of the radial magnetic field of the low power induction motors. The field is treated as a source of the diagnostic signal, which is used in suggested post processing technique. Basic principle of the solution is in the analysis of the varying magnetic flux density in the air gap between asymmetrical rotor and the stator. The theory deals with the derived expected Fourier spectra of the spatial tangential component of external electromagnetic field. Good correlation with the proposed theory is proved using the FEM model and the measurements analysis. The measurement is achieved for several eccentric rotor levels on several devices.
