Original Abstract
This article deals with the modeling of physical and chemical processes during the measurement with an inductive flowmeter. There are presented a theoretical model and an exemplary numerical solution. We prepared numerical models based on the combined finite element method (FEM) and the finite volume method (FVM) of one of three variants and computed the output voltage of the flowmeter electrodes. The model joins magnetic, electric and current fields, a flow field and a chemical nonlinear ion model. The results were obtained by means of FEM/FVM as a main application in ANSYS software.
