Original Abstract
Imaging based on nuclear magnetic resonance is one of important methods for the study of tissues and molecules. Its diagnostic results in medicine are indisputable. The number of temporomandibular joint examinations using the MR methods has recently been increasing and the results obtained are compared with those provided by sonographic examination and CT imaging. The MR method enables measuring the slow motion of nuclei and molecules (D = 10-10-10-12 m2/s). Data on the diffusion and other motion of the nuclei of different substances in the tissue under examination can yield new diagnostic results.
