Original Abstract
Experimental work has been focused especially on the dependence of the moduli of both elasticity and deformability on the loading level up to tested body failure. The origin and development of cracks in fibre-concretes after reaching a post-critical state has been monitored, and residual strain at steady-state values of deflection has been determined. The values of static and dynamic moduli of elasticity, compression strength and splitting tensile strength have been compared. The fracture experiments have been aimed towards the determination and comparison of the fracture parameters of a composite both with and without fibres.
