Original Abstract
The reliability analysis of a steel tension member designed according to the EUROCODE 3 is presented in the paper. Partial safety factors of load-carrying capacity and loading action of the Standard EN1990 are the reliability calibration parameters. The failure probability misalignment is studied by means of probabilistic analysis. The effect of model uncertainties is studied, applying the fuzzy numbers. The obtained values of the failure probability are compared with the failure probability target value which is given in the Standard EN1990.
