Original Abstract
This paper presents results from transient nonlinear simulations of large toroidal coils which will be used in experimental magnetic therapy. Simulations were done for coils with ferrite and air cores in free space and for coils enclosed in copper and steel enclosures that serve as electromagnetic shielding. Trapezoid current pulse with amplitude of 25 A was used to excite the coils. The simulations were preparatory step in order to determine shape and intensity of generated fields before actual experiments on biological materials take place.
