Design of SIMO-type Universal Filter with Adjustable Parameters

Original Abstract
This contribution is focused on the design of the SIMO-type (Single-Input Multiple-Output) frequency filters working in the current mode proposed by proper organization of simple lossless and loss integrator-type units. Presented example of universal-filter circuitry is formed by three multiple-output current followers (MO-CF), whose current outputs serve directlyas high-impedance outputs of whole filter. Contribution also includes enhanced version of presented circuit, which offers possibility to digitally control the quality factor of all filtering functions independently with respect to characteristic frequency of the filter. Simulation results that were obtained with the help of simple models of used active elements confirm design correctness.
