Original Abstract
he paper deals with two approaches for a determination of sensitivities of voltage and/or current distributions at the multiconductor transmission lines (MTL). First continuous models are formulated in the (s,x) and (s,q) domains via one- and two-dimensional Laplace transforms, respectively. After incorporating boundary conditions, the numerical inverse Laplace transform (one- or two-dimensional) leads to the (t,x)-domain solution. Second a semi-discrete model is shown, based on a connection of the generalized PI networks in cascade. In this case the sensitivities are determined by processing the model chain matrix. In all cases the boundary conditions are incorporated via generalized Thévenin equivalents. Computations have been performed using the Matlab language.
