Předpjaté pásové a visuté konstrukce postavené v USA a UK jsou popsány z hlediska jejich konstrukčního řešení, postupu stavy a vlivu konstrukčního uspořádání na statickou a dynamickou analýzu. Oba typy mostů, jejichž projekt byl vyvinut z konstrukcí postavených v České Republice, mají velmi štíhlou mostovku sestavenou z prefabrikovaných prvků tvořených dvěma okrajovými nosníky ztuženými příčnými žebry. Charakteristickou vlastnost těchto konstrukcí je, že jejich tuhost především vychází z geometrické tuhosti předpjaté betonové mostovky.
