Original Abstract

The paper brings the results of concrete research with gypsum-free cement. This concrete is characterized with short setting time and high initial strength. Concrete with gypsum-free cement has in the age of 3 days comparable strength with 28 days strength of common concrete with Portland cement containing gypsum. The water/cement ratio of this concrete is markedly lower than with concrete containing Portland cement with gypsum, because the cement contains as one component of the setting control system admixtures with strong plasticizing effects. This concrete is suitable for building and repair of concrete structures, where a quick bringing in performance after concreting is demanded.
