Original Abstract
The goal of the study is to select the appropriate exercises with a big gymball which enable the power development. The exercises are applied in a target group of students who regularly frequent the University body building center during an academic year, but who are not for any reason able to do so during holidays. The employed method consists of a comparison and evaluation of the motor content of exercises performed on machines in the body building center with equivalent exercise content for the power development on the gymballs. The main result represents an example of training unit features with the gymball, executed in home conditions. The focus of these exercises is to sustain an optimal level of muscular power mainly in the body stabilization system. Moreover, the selected exercises for the home training are suitable for all age groups. There is a prevailing trend at the moment, that wellness recommends to use professional fitness centers, but our research shows that the possibility of alternative use of gymball for power building at home can substitute this.
