Original Abstract

The contribution deals with problems of the additional strengthening of masonry structures with the steel non-prestressed reinforcement. For additionally reinforced masonry structures are described mechanisms of the failure at the loading with an eccentric force or a bending moment. Results of the experiments performed on two sets of bended beams are presented.
