Original Abstract
The paper deals with the setting of optimum neural network parameters using the genetic algorithm. The neural network is a non-linear dynamic system model. In the first part of the paper the structures of the mathematical and neural model and the modelled non-linear system are discussed. Also described is the genetic algorithm used with searching the optimum parameters of the neural network. The graphs in the second part of the paper show optimization curves, and the resultant values of optimum neural network parameters are given in a table. The mathematical and neural model and the genetic algorithm were programmed in Matlab as well as the simulations and calculated values.
