Original Abstract
The positive influence of foreign direct investment upon the economy of the developing countries is indisputable. Low level of the formation of own sources of financing and high dependence upon the level of the bank financing causes that also the countries of transitive economies are trying to attract the foreign investors. Influence of FDI in the Czech economy can by mostly seen in the growth of the volume of the investment. Nevertheless, it is necessary to show also the negative sides resulting from the influx of the foreign direct investment, mainly in the area of the transfer of labor intensive and technologically under-developed production.
