Original Abstract

Pojem klastr není v naší ekonomice nový. První vlna boomu klastrů z hlediska vývoje tohoto síťového podnikání je již za námi. Omezovat spolupráci klastru pouze geograficky by bylo značně krátkozraké a do jisté míry by popíralo smysl existence klastrů. Ono známé „příležitost dělá zloděje“ platí v reálném businessu o to více, pokud se znáte se svými konkurenty, máte dobré vztahy s odběrateli a dodavateli. Klastry jsou právě tím seskupením, které by k networkingu v rámci odvětví měly přispívat a aktivně vztahy mezi jednotlivými subjekty rozvíjet. A to nejen mezi členy v rámci klastru, ale také mezi klastry samotnými, a to napříč celou světovou ekonomikou.

English abstract

Purpose of this article is to describe the current state of clusters activities in Czech Republic. The scientific aim is to define the clusters development from different perspective due to Czech economic specifications. The authors focus on many aspects of clusters, the size, branch, legal form etc. plus they evaluate the activism of the clusters. Finally the comparison between Czech cluster development level and world cluster development level, together with Centrope region and post-communist countries, is described. Methodology used was primarily the desk research followed by individual interviews with clusters managers and with National Clusters Agency. Conclusions states that the level of clusters development has the influence to national competitiveness and the first era of clusters foundation has passed in Czech Republic. The importance of further development is underlined together with new trend called metacluster.
