Original Abstract
Electrochemical methods are a reliable tool for a fast and low cost assay of phenolic compounds (phenolics) in food samples. The methods are precise and sesnitive enough to assay low content of polyphenols. The devices can be stationary or flow through, and based on voltammetry or amperometry. The application of voltammetric methods and HPLC-ED methods for analysis of phenolics in food samples is described in this review. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods are discussed
