Original Abstract
Brewers yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) are a secondary product from production of beer. They are used as a nutritional supplement for long time, too. Brewers yeasts can be supplemented with probiotic bacteria and roughage and with vitamins, minerals and enzymes, too. Brewers yeast tablets with content of genus Lactobacillus and Biffidobacterium were used for analysis. Two types of samples were before expiration, and other were after expiration (1 and 8 years). DNA was isolated from crude cell lysates of brewers yeast tablets using magnetics P(HEMA-co-GMA) microspheres covered by carboxyl groups. Non-diluted DNA was used for analysis of Lactobacillus and Biffidobacterium. The conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) were used for amplification of DNAs.
