Mechanical Engineering and Energetics

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology is the largest mechanical engineering faculty in the Czech Republic and ranks first in the annual quality survey. In addition to education, it offers both basic and applied research in its state-of-the-art laboratories. The largest volume is made up of cooperation with the automotive industry (27%), followed by metallurgy (23%), the energy industry (16%) and the aerospace industry (13%). The NETME Centre, in which approximately CZK 1.5 billion has been invested, also contributes significantly to research projects.

We develop advanced technologies for engineering and energy.
