Project Cooperation
Thanks to the concentration of unique know-how and the abilities of our academic and research staff, Brno University of Technology achieves excellent results in research and development, not only in traditional technical fields, but also in technological areas that are today a source of competitiveness and profile the national economy as a high value-added economy.
In research, we build on close links with industrial partners, as the challenge for us remains, alongside our standard grant activity, to create the conditions for participation in major industrial research projects. These industrial partners therefore become not only our partners in grant research projects or commissioners of contract research, but often also employers of our graduates and students.

In the area of research and development, we give top priority to its quality, relevance and applicability as a prerequisite for effective and useful cooperation with industrial partners. In developing competitive project applications, we rely on inter-faculty collaboration and strong partner consortia, which leads to increased success in competing for grants and projects on a technical level and allows us to identify truly relevant topics. We have become one of the most successful partner universities among HEIs as measured by our shares in other projects selected for funding.
