The thermal storage module assembly can effectively stabilize the thermal microclimate in buildings at low operating costs. The system not only enables passive cooling of rooms in summer, it can also be used for low-temperature heating of rooms in winter.
The main technological components of the module are a base plate, an insulation layer and a mat of capillary tubes flooded with water for heat dissipation or supply. The mat is placed in a layer of gypsum plaster with a proportion of micro pellets containing Phase Change Materials (PCMs).
To ensure reliable removal of the accumulated heat from the micro-pellets containing PCMs during night time, the capillary mat is used, which is permanently flooded with water to increase the heat storage capacity, cooling the storage medium especially during night and off-peak hours. The fittings on the distribution pipes make it easy to connect additional modules to the individual distribution circuits. The assembly includes a reversible heat pump, e.g. air-to-water, for the preparation of heating/cooling water required to operate the energy-efficient system in winter/summer.
We offer an exclusive or non-exclusive license for the territory where this technology is protected, we expect the application of the above described device on the market. Ideal partners are manufacturers of accumulation panels, heating/cooling panels, manufacturers of capillary mats, etc.
