Current projects solved by the Department of Knowledge Transfer

Acceleration of support for proof of concept activities at BUT

The aim of project is to develop and accelerate the activities of BUT in the field of support for the commercialization of R&D results "proof-of-concept", especially in the field of R&D results for which a specific application guarantor or a specific method of commercialization is not clearly identified. These are results that have so far been neglected in the commercialisation system, as the focus has been mainly on supporting the commercialisation of the results of application projects (e.g. TACBR), but which often already have an application sponsor and a described commercialisation method.

BridgeTTe – Horizon Europe

The project aims to connect academia and business through AI-based talent scouting, women's empowerment, scientific entrepreneurship and prototyping to improve start-up and spin-off ecosystems. The project is currently in the submission and evaluation phase, with implementation planned from April 2025 to September 2027.

The Knowledge Transfer Department has extensive experience in dealing with various projects from different providers (e.g. Technology Agency of The Czech Republic, Ministry of education youth and sports).

Successfully implemented projects

The last successfully implemented project is VUT Příležitost, which develops the current system of commercialization at BUT.
