Special Technology of Forming Metals

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students will acquire knowledge of conventional as well as unconventional types of technologies, and will be able to apply these technologies for particular cases of forming.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of technological courses IV. year of study.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Course - unit credit requirements: participation in the exercises, delivery of assigned papers.
The examination consists of written and oral part. The final classification will be in accordance with the article No. 13 of the Rules for Studies and Examinations valid at the Brno University of Technology since 2004/2005.

Aims

The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the use of special forming methods in broad terms.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Missed lessons will be compensated in alternative exercises by arrangement with the teacher.
