Content annotation :The course deals with the operating theory, practical design approaches, and manufacturing methods applied for the most commonly used types of motors.It does not focus only on the design or the theory .Also discussed are the following topics: electromechanical forces and torques, electromagnetic forces, energy approach, magnetic materials,insulation,bearing systems,theory of DC motors,different types of DC motors, induction asynchronous and synchronous motors,brushless DC motors, switched reluctance motors, piezomotors,stepping motors,requirements for motor applications , speed-torque characteristics,controls circuits, feedback element, semiconductors supply units.
