The course deepens students’ knowledge of modern technology and modern methods used in the development and design of a product. Work methods used in a mainstream CAD systems are explained. Importance is placed on understanding each stage of the 3D model production. This course acquaints students with modern prototype product technologies as are CNC manufacturing, rapid prototyping. Next, reverse engineering methods are described. Information about RE is aimed at technical principles, principles of space data obtained, and methods of data processing.
