The following topics are dealt with: Basics Concepts (Communication and Information). Information theory. Signals Characteristics. Coding. Communication: Introduction, Amplitude and Frequency Modulation, Pulse Modulation (PAM, PWM, PPM). Modems. Computer Networks.

The course objective is to make students familiar with the basics of the Theory of information.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

10-12. Cryptography (history and modern approach, digital signature)
13. Bar coding.
