Calibration of Measuring Instruments

Syllabus object is standing on knowledge obtained by study object "Metrology and check technology", "Resources control quality" and "Experimental technique ". The students are familiarize with unique method verification and calibration measuring instruments sector length and other geometrical quantity, that are in present time using at system quality ensuring; in preference in engineering production unit. Behind using available measuring instrument (coordinate measuring machine, laser interferometer, ...) listeners in practice try impementation test work in laboratory area FS VUT out inclusive processing results with the help programmatic product and document in intention contemporary introduce and in the sense implementation system quality. Under time limit whole semester will finish compact test coordinate measuring machine (CMM) in partial period, processing results and record.
Test CMM machine as global, so analytical methods, process results measuring and tests, makeing document about test results out.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Obtaining practical experience with ensuring traceability CMM, that is today usually use in facilities engineering production unit and it is necessary include him in relation with internal directions production unit into system quality.

Prerequisites

Geometrical product specification (GPS), fundamentals of design, engineering production technology, and general and legal metrology.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

For getting credit is necessary active attendance at laboratory training and elaboration document system quality in relation with CSN EN ISO 45001. Credit will conferment on basis attendance and giving release document over. Examination consist of mouth defence to credit submit documents system quality, at which listener demonstrate fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge. To examination listener takes measuring records and test, on basis which document elaborate.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The absence in experimental exercises must be replaced. In case of long time absence, it is necessary to elaborate the individual tasks, which will be defended during the credit graduation.
