Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism

The course is focused on an introduction of the contemporaneous Czech architectonic scene – an overview of the contemporaneous Czech architecture, introduction to historical context, sources of contemporaneous architectonic design, historical reflection. Lectures will be given by leading representatives of the Czech architectonic scene who will demonstrate on their work – plans and implementations – their architectonic opinion, problems and their approach to solving them with the aim of presenting a result encompassing architecture in all its missions.
